Okay, If you’ve read any other blog from this year you would know that rain has been my true demise this year. For me and every other photographer, couple getting married, outdoor vendors, events, literally anything. The Rain has been out of control. By Rebecca and Tom’s Wedding at the stunning Greenville Country Club I thought for sure we would have a break! I didn’t even watch the weather that closely. I think by the wedding it would have been like day 14 of straight rain so I was just manifesting that to not happen.

So there I am driving to their venue and it’s beautiful out! Blue skies, a nice breeze, a little blurb of rain in the forecast but way later in the day. Then BOOM out of no where it just starts to downward as I’m pulling up to the venue. I’m not kidding when I tell you I mat have cried as hard as the rain. But my brain thought - along with everyone else I’m sure - it’s fine! It’s summer. a quick little rain storm and then back to blue skies! Which, at the end of the day did happen, but not before shedding a few more tears of mine - I mean rain drops down right at ceremony. And I’m talking down to the few last moments before the ceremony. RUUUUDDDEEEE! I tried everything in my power to push with these two for an outdoor ceremony, but nonetheless, the rain won the battle.

Luckily we were able to spend nearly the entire rest of the day outside and celebrate the breezy and carefree love between these two! From the absolute perfection of the garden party planning to the sweet romantic vows shared between these two. It was such a beautiful day at one of my favorite venues. Also need to shout out this wedding party, who functioned seemlesly as we rushed through a few things and flipped things around. The who group of VIPs!
