I cannot say enough good things about these two. I first met Elle at a Tyler Gardens Event through her cousin Larissa. Larissa, HBIC of LaRue Events, was the planner for this wedding day as well! If you’re looking for a planned who isn’t just going to feed you blush and white, she is your girl. Anyway! So Larissa told me she had her cousin coming but I was also standing in a room filled with other hella talented photographers so naturally (yay self deprecation) I didn’t think much of it. So around the corned strolls this GORGEOUS creature with an ear to ear smile and I melted. Elle’s presence alone could make a room fall in love which I’m sure you all know but her beauty is far from skin deep. I truly had so much fun getting to know her throughout this process and I cannot wait to be an honorary cousin.

But two people got married on this day - enter Tom. Holy Yin and Yang for these two. While Elle’s energy is simply energetic, Tom comes in with the perfect balance to mellow the mood and keep things grounded. Normally this happens in a not so pleasing way when I see it. I’ll be honest. Greg was not right for Dharma - I said what I said. I don’t like it when I can see one person holding the other back in a relationship (and lucky those couples stopped booking me!). Tom mellows in the perfect way, acknowledging her and uplifting her and sort of just making sure she stays safe. There was one point on the dance floor where this beautiful couple was dancing together and the little social butterfly bride hopped around from Tom to friend to friend to friend and Tom stood back and just watched her and ya’ll I could have cried. It reminded me so much of my own relationship with my husband. It was really nice to see as an outsider.
