If someone could explain to me how I’m supposed to sum up a wonderful day into a few lines, that would be great. I know I have attempted a few times so far, but like, after the break and downtime it just doesn’t feel like enough. The need to shout from the rooftops of how much I love my job is ever-present in my life. Be still my heart. Be still my brain that said girl, why are you writing Press Releases for a Naval R&D company?! Go do something you love. I am so excited to have my 2022 Wedding Season start off which so much excitement and people that were just so genuine happy to be around each other.

Am I a little panicked for the 2023 season because it’s March and I only have 2 dates open? Yes. But I digress. this isn’t about me. This is about the GOATs Katie and Mike! Can we get another slow clap for them? Stunners!

After first meeting Katie (which I think I wrote about in their engagement blog) I knew, hands down, this was my person. I know, I know - she’s married to the bomb ass Mike. But I don’t care. She’s my ideal type of person to be around. And Mike is her person which also make him my person. The balance between these two reminds me so much of my own relationship so of course I loved watching them all night (like a creepy person behind a camera or bush). The pure level of joy that radiates out of Katie matched with the way Mike looks at her knowing he was the chosen one to make her that happy for life. *Chef’s kiss - It is perfection. And Mike, with his hella strong but also a little quiet demeanor to completely level out the whole relationship. I will say I’m a little sad that I didn’t get to fully witness Mike’s crazy dude side, but maybe another day.

For now, enjoy a little (and by little I mean lot) of their beautiful wedding day!
