Okay everyone… it’s been WAY longer than I intended to get this gallery out. Especially considering I knew I would be blogging this wedding since the day I booked it! I mean look at these two?! And it gets even better because they are seriously magical together. Vibes high all day for both their engagement session and their wedding. I’m the luckiest photographer in the world for getting both beautiful and amazing couples and Valarie and Boomer did not disappoint. Shout out to my girl Brenna for recommending me to them - You the real MVP!

Photographers, you ever walk into the bride’s getting ready suite and just know that it’s going to be a beautiful day? I knew I was going to the stunning Appleford but then I walk in and see this dress too? Be still my heart. This wedding is what dreams are made of for me!

My husband asked me the other day, “Do you ever wake up on your wedding days and think to your self Oh! My couple is waking up today giddy with excitement for their wedding day!” Honest answer - I didn’t before he said this. I think I used to but then the thought dwindled away. What do I think of now? How can I maximize my couples time with me and still allow them to enjoy their whole wedding day? I don’t have a solid answer for that yet, but I’m working on it! Working on being more present for people’s days, not pulling them away from people unless I need to, allowing them to enjoy their little moments and not feeling the need to fill their silence with my own thoughts. Val and Boomer’s wedding was my first test of this practice. We got off schedule, things got a little flustered, and that’s okay. Brush it off and carry on with the day! Your wedding day is not about me and my plan!

Val and Boomer, I hope you both enjoyed your day as much as I did with you and were able to soak in as many moments as possible. And more importantly I would like to transfer back to your dance floor and just live there for the rest of my life. Talk about a party!
