Olivia and Tim
The Warwick Hotel
Philadelphia, PA
I don’t know where to even start with Olivia and Tim - like, there are no words to justify their intoxication and infectious nature of their personalities. After their engagement session I was literally counting down the days until their wedding just so we could hang out again. Not only are they so much fun to be around, but look at them. LOOK AT THEM! Come on.
With rain in the forecast (shocker spring of 2023 - real original. Insert eye roll) I told Olivia to just prepare for anything and I shit you not - if we didn’t prove Murphy’s Law right with this wedding then I have no idea what happened. They decided to do some portraits prior to their ceremony and forgo a first look. Naturally I was nervous as the humidity crept up that we were going to get dumped on so I sped things up a little and got the girls back into the hotel room to refresh before the ceremony. As I’m walking to their stunning church, it starts to drizzle on me. Luck #1. The rain continues to spit as their guests arrive to the ceremony but nothing unworkable. They no sooner were Olivia and Tim welcomed into the ceremony it starts pouring down rain. The side doors of the church were open and I’m talking black skies, sheets of rain. Olivia and Tim do their thing, give a quick hello to Mary and boom - the rain stops. Luck #2. So we load up onto the trolly and keep on with our plan to hit up Old City, arrange the whole wedding party, take some pictures, then I bring Tim and Olivia up under the covering of Second Bank. Boom - Pouring rain again. Luck #3 (Sorry wedding party - this might have skipped you this time but at least the trolly circled back!). We do some portraits where we are more or less covered by the rain until it lets up then rush to the trolly to head to our last location. When we arrive, the rain stops completely again. Luck #4. Like are you kidding me? We finish up and head to the venue early and while I’m standing outside doing exterior pictures - it starts to drizzle again.
I don’t know how you got into such a good standing with the rain gods, but please tell them to bless me like your wedding for the rest of eternity. Needless to say - if you were there or are even distant friends of these to, they threw a banger and climbed to the top for 2023 Party Vibes for me personally.
Olivia and Tim - I fucking love you both and I wish you nothing short of the most amazing and fun life possible.
