Nick and Mackenzie
Every wedding photographer under the sun will be able to admit to you that there is always a wedding they are looking forward to in their season. I’m lucky enough that I had multiple of them in my 2023 and Nick and Mackenzie were 1,000% one of them. From our initial connection I was getting such good energy from these two and fell in love with them even more after their engagement session. The love these two share is intoxicating in the best way. So tender and sweet and to top it all off, they are stunning individuals.
Fast forward from their Asbury engagement session to their beautiful Holly Hedge Estate wedding and I feel like I knew a little of what to expect but everything far exceeded my expectations. There was not a minute of this day that wasn’t filled with love and tears of joys. Their ceremony opened with a poem written by a Grandfather to his wife and was just so love filled and better than any reading I’ve heard and so unique! That paired with the tears of Uncle Mike (sorry I have to include you) just set the tone for the whole night. Under twinkly lights against the beautiful Holly Hedge Barn, Nick and Mackenzie shared their personal vows and after 12 years of being together, you can only imagine the amount of nostalgia packed into their words.
Mackenzie was praying some semblance of fall color would be left over for her mid November wedding and sure enough they got a sunny beautiful day packed with rich yellows and oranges throughout. Pat and Sean Kelly slayed the music as per usual and it just stopped me in my track so many times throughout the day thinking Damn, this moment is so fucking beautiful. It was a day that left me once again feeling beyond blessed that I’m able to share in my couple’s special days.
Enjoy a little sneak into their teary eyed beautiful fall wedding at Holly Hedge Estate.
