I cannot get enough of this wedding. Leading up to Becca and Bryan’s wedding day I was of course nervous as I am before every wedding. As a smaller wedding we opted to utilize their budget for photography all on their wedding day since they had previously done an engagement session with another photographer. Engagement sessions are how I get a feel for my couples so I know which personality trait of my own to bring to a wedding day. We didn’t have that, I was going in blind. Normally a non issue - I’ve done it multiple times in the past but something just felt different about this vibe. I knew from our conversations that it was going to be elegant but no one could have prepared me for the amount of endearing emotions that would flood over this day. From the most delicate dress to perfect florals and beauty - not to mention Bryan looking handsome and genuinely enjoying his wedding day; literally every single family member that made it along to celebrate their wedding day was flawless. But none of that matters - literally none of it. Photographing this intimate wedding reminded me why I love what I do so damn much. Becca and Bryan shared the most intimate vows I’ve ever heard and was followed up by some of the sweetest speeches during dinner. All of the raw emotions for every second of their day give me chills thinking about it. Suraya provided THE BEST outdoor hidden gem of a reception space and the weather when from supposed rain to absolute perfection. I will happily shoot this wedding 100 more times. I cried while editing this entire gallery and it honestly brought out a whole new purpose to my work. Don’t get it twisted if you see my shift my entire photographic-being from grand affairs to elopements because this is a day I will never forget.
