Okay - I love a big party, but hot damn, these intimate weddings are RIVALING them full force. It’s not a fir fight yet, I have shot way more bangers than intimate events but like, damn. These smaller weddings have been batting 1,000 for me this year and I have on coming up that I’m also very much looking forward to!
Jamie and Gene celebrated their love with a small intimate wedding surrounded by a few of their closest friends and family. We started off the day at Townley House which I will 10/10 recommend to get ready at. (Side note: I left a hanger there and THEY KEPT IT in their lost and found until I could have a friend grab it. That’s unheard of. Hats off to you and you’re ultra accommodating space). After talking with Jamie on their engagement session she mention how important her beauty was to her. And not that she wanted to go full glam, but she was set on waning a soft natural look that enhanced her already gorgeous features (my words - she’s not vapid). Enter in True Beauty Marks who is foolproof with this idea.
This wedding was a perfect example of wanting to have a beautiful day, but also wanted to enjoy it. Some people [read; me] want to dance and party with a crowd. Others want to have the most delicious dinner (thanks Three Oak) and play games with their friends! Either way, I am forever grateful that ya’ll let me be a part of your special days. Feeling all sort of grateful this season!
