Cathleen and Dave

Can we just talk about how hard it was for me to pick and choose which images I wanted to use for this blog? I have so much goodness from Cathleen and Dave’s wedding day that it hurts! I just want to share it all! It’s so nice walking into a wedding and seeing faces that I know! I live for it!

I met Cathleen when she was in Jordan and Joe’s wedding a few years ago and not only were Jordan and Joe part of their wedding party, but some other friends and family I know where also there celebrating these two! So much fun! One of my favorite things about this wedding was Cathleen walking to her ceremony. She got ready in her parents beautiful home which was literally 2 blocks away from the church so why not!?

The smiles from this day just make my heart melt. Every time I pulled up my camera for anything all I saw was people just out there living life to their fullest. Also, there was a horse. He hated me which is fine, I’m a lot of energy, but came right over to my second photographer!

Now, a moment for the couple. I cannot. These slackers never got around to scheduling their engagement session so there was ZERO prep for these pictures. Totally fine. How do I roll with a day like this when there is no practice? Same way I roll with an engagement session. Just be you! Get that awkward “what do I do with my hands?” bullsh*t out of the way and have fun! Luckily for me Cathleen and Dave are all around good humans who enjoy each other company which translates to being super easy to photograph. Win win!

Enjoy their day with me (warning - it’s a long one)!
