While I love getting to meet new people and couples, it’s always hella fun to be able to shoot the wedding of someone I know! I’ve known Jamie since elementary school and Katie had no idea when she reached out to me that I knew him which made it even better! Growing up I had a bestie named Ashley and Jamie is her cousin. They lived next-door to on another so both Jamie and Ashely’s family were always around! I had so much fun getting to see everyone again and holy sh*t have they grown up. Obviously because they are all similar to my age and I grew up but it’s always to fun to see what things have changed and stayed the same.

Okay - Back to Katie and Jamie. Can we just take about how fun these two are together? I’ve never seen two people so comfortable around each other and so openly honest but in a good way! Nothing but love between them and after listening to their speeches, I have a feeling that has a lot to do with their backgrounds. Katie’s sister gave a beautiful speech about how caring and dedicated she is while Jamie’s friend went on to share how Jamie was always there for him and honestly they were both so touching. Their relationship just makes sense to me! I’m here for it!
