Jordan and Julie

Hello 2024!!

Okay, I had two other weddings before this one but I’m finally finding the tie to blog something so Hello 2024 x3! It’s no surprise that I love Philly - I don’t know why, I just do. And Philly in the spring time is chef’s kiss. When Julie and Jordan reached out to me I felt like I was going to enjoy being around them, but like HOT DAMN! I really enjoy these two as a couple. Their energy level is exactly what I love about city weddings and when they let me hit all my favorite pink trees, I was in love.

Speaking of pink trees, I would be lying if I said I didn’t get teary from their private vows under one of my favorite spots in the city. I vividly remember being in the moment and between the sun, the spring blooming, and their sweet words I thought to myself “this is what it’s about.” I made a deal to myself to go into 2024 and be even more intentional with my work that I have been in the past. It’s so easy to get swept up in the trends and the posting and the do it for the gram, but that’s not why anyone gathers for a wedding day. I felt so grounded at Julie and Jordan’s wedding because they allowed me the space to slow down (the wind didn’t - f*ck you wind) but I am still grateful for being able to share in their day.

I hope you enjoy a little peek into their beautiful Waterworks Wedding Day.
