Heather and Andy

The Cork Factory Hotel

Lancaster, PA

I’m going to be honest - I don’t like the rain anymore. I don’t like the clouds anymore. Give me the blasting beating hot sun. Please someone remind me of this feeling when I’m swearing off the sun in August. This is why I have to live in a state with seasons, they all have their quirks and I’m happy to adjust from one to the next. THE RAIN THOUGH!

Okay, I have to back track first. When Heather and Andy held their Engagement session in Philadelphia, we got suffocated, and I mean SUFFOCATED by pollen. Coughing left and right trying to breathe when the wind kept picking it up. And then once the wind finally settled down, rain. It’s just rude to rain on your engagement session AND your wedding. Nonetheless, Heather and Andy handled it like champions! And bless the Cork Factory Hotel in Lancaster for hosting this rainy wedding in a venue that has multiple buildings and you don’t get to just stay dry all day inside. I am hating on the rain a little more than I should be because I love the way it makes greens pop and just naturally highlights everyone. If you caught my IG yesterday - you can find the absolute gremlin that I turn into on rainy days though. For these two, I will HAPPILY stand in the rain for hours on end just to make sure I’m getting you the best of your wedding day.

Also - special shout out to the cutest kids I’ve ever had at a wedding. This was honestly the best blending on families that is just further supported by the pure nature of three little girl besties who also may have had the best night of their lives.

Heather and Andy, I wish you all the love and cat love and I hope you never get rained on again for the rest of your “outdoor event” life!
