Matt and Skye are two of the dopest people I have had the honor to call my couple. I knew when I first met them that I was going to fall in love. Honestly they reminded me of all my friends growing up in high school and for me, it was an instant bond. These two rock climbing lovers skipped past the ballroom, estate vibes, and brought me out to a farm in the middle of no where. I don’t normally photograph barn weddings any more but I knew I would love this two - plus animals. I mean come on, who doesn’t love a cow?!
As with nearly every other day of my life this wedding season, Skye and Matt were graces with just enough rain to be annoying and shift ceremony plans but not enough to ruin their day. I’m still swooning over Sky’s delicate Sarah Seven dress from Lovely Bride in Philly. Anyone who has even met me know she’s my hands down favorite designer! Matt’s Green suit was the perfect compliment for something classic but slightly off beat and I’m here for some colors!
When I tell you this whole crew is filled with troopers, I mean it. We started the day 2.5 hours late (yes I was having a panic attack) and the way these people allowed me to blow through everything we needed with ease is just beyond me. Props to having a down-for-flexibility wedding party and family! I also cannot publish this blog without comment on how fucking good the food was from Epicurean Catering Company. Everything single things I ate I wanted 10,000 more of. Drooling thinking about it.
